The Hebei Provincial Department of Natural Resources recently issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the First Basic Water Resource Survey in the Province", which is the first time to carry out a basic survey of the province's land water resources from the perspective of natural resources. It is planned to use 3 years to fully understand the province's water resources and form basic water resource survey results.
This basic water resource survey takes all water bodies within the province's land space as the survey object, obtains the spatial distribution, quantity, quality and dynamic changes of water resources, and provides basic water resource information for natural resource management, ecological civilization construction, national economy and social development.
According to different survey objects and working methods, the main work is to implement water space survey, surface liquid water storage survey, groundwater resource survey, water resource special survey and evaluation and database construction. Among them, the investigation of surface liquid water storage capacity, through data collection and underwater topography (water depth) measurement of surface liquid water, establishes a "water surface area-water depth-water storage capacity" mathematical model, and calculates the water storage capacity of lakes, reservoirs, ponds and rivers based on the results of water space investigation; the groundwater resources investigation, on the basis of making full use of existing hydrogeological results and data, carries out hydrogeological supplementary investigation, groundwater monitoring and unified measurement, surface water and groundwater conversion investigation, groundwater resource evaluation, etc., to find out the distribution and structure of aquifers, determine the boundaries of groundwater systems, groundwater resource evaluation parameters, etc., to grasp the morphology and changes of groundwater flow fields, and evaluate the national conditions data such as precipitation and precipitation resources, surface water and groundwater conversion.
