Not long ago, Typhoon "Bebejia" came with wind and rain, and the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Geology responded quickly, gathered forces, paid close attention to the dynamics of Typhoon "Bebejia", and devoted itself to the fight against the typhoon, taking multiple measures and going all out to fight the "hard battle" against typhoons.
On duty around the clock. Since receiving the typhoon warning information, the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Geology has immediately notified the geological disaster technical centers in Nanjing, Wuxi, Changzhou, Suzhou, Nantong, Zhenjiang and other places, and actively cooperated with the provincial and municipal natural resources authorities to provide technical support for geological disaster defense response. Each center actively carried out various preventive response measures, pre-positioned standby personnel, materials, and equipment, strictly implemented the leadership shift and 24-hour duty system, and assigned personnel to keep a close eye on the geological disaster monitoring and early warning platform and accept emergency rescue and rescue mission instructions at any time.
Inspection and investigation are fully covered. Before and after the typhoon, the technical personnel of the Jiangsu Provincial Geological Bureau increased the inspection and monitoring of geological disasters, strengthened consultation and judgment, and conducted comprehensive inspections and investigations on various geological disaster risk points to ensure that there are no blind spots or omissions in disaster prevention work. They are not afraid of wind and rain, and are not afraid of hardships. They conduct rolling inspections on key areas and weak links of geological disaster risk points and risk prevention areas to build a safety line of defense. So far, a total of 116 technical personnel have been dispatched, and a total of 305 inspections have been conducted.
